Alderney Sailing Club
The Alderney Sailing Club caters for a wide range of sailing interests ranging from dingy sailing up to blue water cruisers. The Club is also afocal point for visiting yachtsmen and their crews and has an active junior section.

Alderney Harbour Office
In Alderney the Harbourmaster acts as Coastguard and co-ordinates with the local Lifeboat. The Harbour Office is responsible for all moorings in Braye Harbour as well as providing Customs facilities and weather information for visiting yachtsmen.

'Alderney Coastguard' maintains a listening watch on VHF Channels 16, 67, and 74.

Alderney Duty Free offer a wide range of wines and spirits as well as cigarettes, cigars and tobacco, all at duty and VAT free prices. Duty free goods can be purchased from Mainbrayce (Crabby Harbour), in town, or on departure in the airport cafeteria.

Tax Free Shopping
As with the other British Channel Islands there is no VAT/TVA in Alderney, which makes a visit there even more attractive. Shopping for jewellery, cameras and electronic goods is still a pleasure in the quaint town of St Anne.
